Dr. Chris Funk – Assistant Professor [CV]
Ph.D., University of Montana
My research program uses an integrative, cross-disciplinary approach to address fundamental questions in evolutionary ecology and conservation.  I tackle these questions by combining molecular population genetics and genomics; capture-mark-recapture analysis and other quantitative field methods; field and lab experiments; and computational approaches.  While I focus on amphibians, I have also published on birds and fish and am excited to address interesting questions using whichever taxon is best suited for the given problem.  All of my research is motivated by a strong interest in natural history and conservation, while simultaneously testing and developing basic theory.
